Photographer’s Note

Taken from the top of a volcanic island at sunset, this picture is one of my favorites not for its quality but for its symbolism. Nature is so grand, and we are but specks in comparison! I mainly like how the light reflected on the water catches two of the cruise boats.

Hi Parker, Dream-like quality to this composition. The dark left side and the sunset. A magic place to visit by all accounts. I especially like the reflected gold sunset trapping the boats. Excellent result. Murray.
