Photographer’s Note

This was taken in the Buffalo River National Park in Arkansas, USA. Hamilton is a primitive camping spot downstream from the Pruitt camping area. This was taken shortly after sunrise as the morning mist was burning off.

I think you composed this picture very good with the tree in the foreground, the rocky coastline, and the way the trees in background slant away from picture. It looks a little overexposed and the colors a little washed out. Possibly some post work in photoshop could enhance the colors a bit. Thanks for sharing, looks so peaceful :D

Nice picture. There's so much contrast between the bright sky and the shadowy forground making for a very difficult situation to photograph. This came out remarkably well given the conditions. Thanks for posting it. -David
