oh ho! very good post. i really like the light here. well composed with a profile of whatever is in the shop. i see a little of distrortion from the wide lens though.
thanks, Arnab

Well spotted Caleb. I'm planing to buy the same lens. Is it difficult to use given the distortion inherent of such wide-angle lenses?

hi caleb, i love those pics with distortion effect of wide-angles; i think i may say i am a bit crazy about it;
this shot is just a perfect example that this is an interesting approach to portrait photography, that wide angle thing

Nice shot Caleb... I like the colors you managed to get here.. Are you satisfied of your 20D.

Nice photo, great light and how it is hitting all the interesting things in the photo. Nice colours too.

I love this, it gives some of the real flavour of India. This gear looks as if its come from a WW2 aeroplane - no hi tech equipment here. I really admire the way that they can repair anything however old, and never throw away anything that potentially useful - this is green action at its best, and a good antidote to our own more disposable society.
Great photo as well, thanks for sharing it
David

Very nice picture of rural India's electronic wizards!

For David:
There is no part of our planet where men ( not women) do not have a cupboard or at least a drawer full of nuts and bolts and completely useless pieces of either car or electronic junk which has to be "looked after" as it " will be used some day"

I like very much the lighting and colours you got. Is that straight from the camera, or have you darkened parts?
