Photographer’s Note
I tried a little more pp in this one. Added some blue & magenta, removed some noise, & sharpened. Pudong is on the south bank of the Huang Pu River in Shanghai. The river flows into the Yangzi much further downstream from the cbd. The Oriental Pearl Tower is on the left, & the JinMao Tower in the centre right (88 floors).
The globe on the right has China marked in red, & Australia, India & East Africa in cyan. Hope you like it.

Impressive shot. Effectively, it seems to be taken on another planet. Good use of the light and colors, and nice composition. Well seen and well presented.

HI Chris,
Nice continuation of the Star Trek adventure, building are amazing and exposure right, you can't avoid small light pollution when there is so much diffuse light, I was never able to get a decent night shot in NYC for example. You could combine this one with the last one to produce a panorama.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Fascinating shapes, Chris, and you seem to have handled the lighting well. Pity you couldn't quite get the very top of the Jinjiang Tower in, but never mind - it's an interesting and well presented shot.

Ditto to my comment on yesterdays shot. Actually I think I prefer this one because of the placing of the large tower over to the left.

It looks neat and clean, so whichever post-work you did came out fine, Chris. It also makes a good complementary view to your previous one, zooming in some more and having the Pearl Tower at the left side this time, making a nice way to read the skyline from left to right. Good exposure again for the night illuminations.

Fine pp wprk Chris. Looking at the one of yesterday and this one - well maybe a stitching had been the thing. I still find the building with the special roof most amazing..

Another good shot, maybe even better than yesterdys's. A very nice composition of interesting shapes and beautiful colors. There was no way that you could catch the whole tower in one frame.

Sawasdee Chris,
Comparing to the previous one, I prefer this one. On these two pictures, the building between the globes is the brightess part in the picture thus it draws my attention. In the previous one, the building is cut so that it make me feel that something is missing.

This one captures a much more impressive atmosphere than the previous. And it is also better balanced with the Oriental Pearl Tower all the way to the left side. I really like the mix of lines from the Oriental Pearl Tower to Jin Mao Tower. But it's those glass spheres I find really impressive, especially the one behind the wave roof. Nicely done.

Hi Chris. You have composed this very well. To see it is a stunning place but to capture this is far more difficult to do, but you have done this well indeed. Very well cropped and composed. Murray.
