[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Brazos Bend state park is located in the small town of Needville, Texas about 45 mintues from city of Houston.
This place is famous for a huge wild life preserve, including more than 270 species of birds and the famous prehistoric-looking American alligator.
We spoted some of these alligators in the other areas of the park, but none seen in this picture.
The park also has facilities for overnight camping and also an observatory for night sky enthusiasts.
I hope you enjoy this photo, which I think well shows the essence of this habitat.

Blue colour of the calm water is absolutly fantastic! Beautiful composition. Interesting place but not for me, I'm afraid alligators...

Behrang, your photos are most interesting and incredibly beautiful. They tell about you as a nature lover and keen observer of life. This composition, as most others, gives a great feeling of calm and happiness. Well shot and captured the deep blue of sky in the reflection in water. Thanks for sharing.

Nice colors in this shot, Behrang. I can imagine an alligator suddenly appearing.

You certainly got a nice blue water here. Your depth seems to go on and on. Too bad you didn't have some clouds like your previous shot, as that would have been cool. No matter, this is a nice shot.

The pict is interesting: the colors are very pure. A polarized filter would have be good for the sky, maybe...

Un calme absolu, oui, dans une région qui n'a pas l'air trop acceuillante, en tous cas assez marécageuse.
J'aime beaucoup les couleurs et cette prise de vue presqu'au ras de l'eau.

Very good composition, Behrang. I especially like the way you have captured the deep blue in the water. Perhaps a polarizer for the sky to help its blandness. But a very peaceful, satisfying mood with this shot.
