Sunrize in Angkor Wat ...
Almost every single visitor has one ...
Unless there is a unique combination of clouds
and sunlight this subject however beautifull has been photographed to death ...
While still on the lookout for that special combination this is one of the photos I really like - you don't see Angkor Wat at all,just the reflection of it in the pond. It's slightly windy in the morning so there are ripples on the water's surface...perfect focus yet slightly blurry due to the ripples,but I find it adds to the atmosphere ... |

A beautiful image. I would have cropped a bit more. I cannot do a workshop but I would leave the upper dark part out. I love your images of your country
nice one. well captured reflections and the lillies.
I agree with Albrecht, and i'd like a correction on a small tilt that i can find.

Hello Dror,
it's a beautiful water reflection, i like the gilded color, it's apropriated with this mystic place.
Good job again
Luan
Very well spotted and a great capture. Nice composition, the light and the reflection makes it a great photo.
Very beautiful reflection and colours. Thank you for posting.
Nice shot Dror;
Great idea capturing the reflection of Angkor off the water like this. Golden sun with the relfection like this almost gives it a dream like quality.
A suggestion if you happen to retake this one;
Maybe get a little bit closer to the water, and a bit wider zoom, followed by a panoramic crop? Don't mind me, I'm wishing to re-visit and re-take some of my shots through you... haha
Well done mate,
- Dan
Your idea here is excellent - the shot from in front of the pond is a very common one. It's the warm, autumnal colours that first drew me to this shot though. Nicely done.
