Photographer’s Note
On our way back from the ski slopes, we came across these little locals, who were busy skiing-they'd ski a little, fall a little, ski a little and then fall a little... and they didn't seem to mind at all.. in fact, this kid gave me a big smile when he saw me fooling around with my camera.. after clicking, i asked him if he needed help to get up (since i couldn't get up myself when i fell) and he refused. he just kicked off his ski boots and got up on his bare feet... (freakyyyy)

Another nice catch of these kids, they're obviously going to be experts when they grow up. Why can't I remember seeing an Indian skier in the winter Olympics, has there ever been one?
Minor quibble, shame about clipping his ski.

Snow and ice are difficult.
Exposure needs compensation due to the
brightness of the snow ... with digital cameras white ballance callibration might be a good idea too ...
The composition is very good , I think the exposure is1/2 stop over for the ice making the kid 1/2 stop under ...
A little fuddling with the brightness in PS would solve that ...
Still , well done.

Hey Smrithi, very nice catch, but maybe you should have caught the boy, now he fell down.
I think his shoes are too big.
Lovely smile, the boy is happy. I would say, pretty cold without gloves.

That's how we grow up, by falling a lot under the way, often when we grow up we forget the fun of falling. You can see here that he still enjoys his fall very much, one more for your joyfull crew, enjoying this a lot Smrithi as lifeshould always be a joy. In the mean my nose is leaking on the key-board...

Yes his boots are about a 100 sizes too big....:-) I wonder if he crashed into a hidden root whether he would leave the skis behind ; and shoot off barefoot into the air like the Romans after being hit by Obelix leave their sandals behind..;-)))

And his boots seem to be ten sizes too big for him, so no wonder he fell. But this is a nice boys will be boys shot, with just him and the snow.

I like the graphism of the darker subject & skis against the lighter toned snow. Its good to see the infectious joy & happiness this kid exudes. Good shot!

Hi Smrithi. Another unexpected snow scene from India with the happy boy. Amazing to see him without gloves, and even more so with your story of him walking barefoot through the snow ... Nice photo.

Smrithi, very interesting shot. I like the sweet expression on the kid's face. Seems you had a nice time at Narkanda.. Was in Simla almost the same time and had a ball myself. Btw if i were you I would have had a tighter composition on the lil fella. Good one again.

Hi Smrithi :)
Another children enjoying winter sport in India; and this one is proud like a real Man ;-) Huge skiing boots (compared with his small feet), no glove! His face expression seems even so shy (or intimidated...) the exposure is good here : One can see the snow's texture well. Nicely done, Smrithi.

Hi Smrithi! Another nice catch of these kids in the snow! I like the POV from above here. The boots yet seem quite to big for him, but yes, he doesn't look disoriented at all! A very fine catch in your serie. Well done!

Very nice face on this boy, Smrithi. I love the moment here that you've captured. I also appreciate yur exposure, which is all the more difficult because of snow.

Hi, Smrithie. I like the amused look of this boy, enjoying his skiing afternoon. He really seems to be having fun. Learning to ski involves falling and ... falling again. I think he has understood this basic principle and accepts it.
