Another interior photo, this time photo from beautiful Rajasthan in India, photo of nicely decorated colorful Junagarh Fort corridor.
The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or "Old Fort" in the early 20th century when the ruling family moved to Lalgarh Palace outside the fort limits. It is one of the few major forts in Rajasthan which is not built on a hilltop.
The fort complex construction commenced in 1589 and was completed in 1594. It was built outside the original fort of the city, about 1.5 km from the city centre.
The massive fort built in the plains of Bikaner has a rectangular layout with a peripheral length of 986 m. The fort walls are 4.4 m wide and 12 m in height. It encompasses an area of 52,800 m2. It was surrounded by a moat which was 6.1–7.6 m deep with a base width of 4.6 m and top width of 9.1 m. However, the moat no longer exists.
Historical records reveal that despite the repeated attacks by enemies to capture the fort, it was not taken, except for a lone one-day occupation by Kamran Mirza. Kamran was the second son of the Mughal Emperor Babur who attacked Bikaner in 1534, which was then ruled by Rao Jait Singh. In the battle, the Mughals were defeated by Rathors. Kamran then returned to Lahore.
The fort precinct is studded with palaces, temples and pavilions. These buildings depict a composite culture, manifest in the mix of architectural styles.

Hello Miro, I loved Bikaner! When i think about the chaos on the street there, with camels, donkeys, goats, cows, all kinds of cars and tutktuks there - I would go there at once again.
And of course the fort there was also impressive. Beautiful interior shot, with excellent colours and sharpness. Fine presentation.

Quel bel espace. La salle n'a pas besoin d'être meublée car les murs en ont beaucoup à dire et à raconter. Tout fait converger le regard vers l'ouverture dans le mur du fond.

The light here is really unique, a beautiful room and amazing that this level of detail has gone to a corridor! I guess it gives an indication as to how lavish this place is. You captured a very unique feeling here, i think its the light that creates an almost spooky feel. Great shot, thanks for sharing.

Colorful and ornately decorated for a fort. Nicely captured with good lighting considering you were only using available light and good details. Well done, tfs.

If this isolated section of the interior is this beautiful, I can only imagine how much more there is to take in from the surroundings you mentioned. My eyes don't quite know where to look first, I'm trying to take it all in at once...but there's too much detail and intricate design to absorb in one, wide scan. :)
A smooth exposure has greatly enhanced the aura that exists in this shot, looking and feeling very peaceful. An impressive display of craftsmanship, all presented in an equally impressive manner. enjoy the new day. All the best.
Thanks for the info about FC Basel, I had no idea a club could have been founded by something so simple, like trying to put a band together. :)

Hello Miro - What a superbly decorated interior. I would love to see this room in person as I can see the detailing is very fine. Your shot is a little off on colour balance, there is a red/magenta cast but I still get a good impression of the space.

strong, solid perspectives and excellent details draw and hold the viewer in this charming corridor. The decorative patterns and the colours are enchanting, the soft, diffused lighting is very well managed, it's atmospheric but also respects the subtle details all over the room. I also like the warm and mysterious atmosphere. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

A very good piece of interior shot in natural relaxing ambient, the clarity is very fine and warm colour tones and shadows look so natural with impressive framing and great choice of perspective. So interesting and much more to see obviously the details are enormous to take in. Great effort so well taken, Congrats.
