Bheemunipatnam is a Municipality in Visakhapatnam district, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It was the second municipality in Indian mainland, established on 9 February 1861.
It was still early morning and the town had not properly woken up. If you chose to ignore the autorickshaw and the posters, you could easily travel 200 years back in time.

A simple urban street that has a certain charm about it. I like the presence of the cyclist who helps enliven the scene but does not distract. Ideally exposed with excellent rendering of the textural detail in the crumbling façades. I like it.

Even including the autorickshaw, posters and bicycle this photo could at least have taken me back several decades, if not 200 years. This reminds me strongly of the kind of environments I met during my first visits to India in the 1970's. It's a very pleasant looking street with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the light and colours are beautifully handled.

Hi Satya, Beautiful scenery with this cyclist riding on an autorickshaw in front of all these broken old houses and they always bear histories of the area. Wonderful POV and with amazing colours along with clarity. Best regards

Nice DL and street photo from a municipality in Vizag district. The house presents a nice old world charm to the image. The cyclist is perfectly placed in the frame. Good shot with natural colours and light, thanks for sharing.

An excellent composition. The inclusion of the bicycling figure is a vital element. Maybe it's the early morning light, but your photograph does seem to have a slightly strange yellow/green bias (camera's white balance?) Not that it's a problem, and doesn't interfere with our enjoyment of your image.

A superb diffused light with good sharpness and excellent shadow detail. I like the warm cold color contrast between the yellow pedicab at left and the blue grey tones of the shadowed areas in the fg. The man on the bike at right animates the scene and provides scale. The run down neglected architecture as a kind of seedy tropical charm enhanced by the plants growing in the guttering and roof at right on the upper floor. Tfs!

a very quiet and interesting daily life scene with the lonely cyclist crossing the town early in the morning. As we mentally follow his route across the frame, we get a feeling of the town and its atmosphere. The buildings are decaying but surely display elegant features. I like very much the way you captured the morning light and the natural colours. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,
