Photographer’s Note
It was nice that I could manage to catch some rays of light shining on the Louvre on this rainy October day. A view of the main court and the famous pyramid built over ten years ago. An amazing piece of architecture.

Interesting composition, and indeed lucky you to have a bit of sunshine on the old building, it makes the difference here. This is a place I like for the mixing of different ages of architecture, and different textures, the contrasts in shapes and patterns, and the reflection through glass and water, your picture shows that well. I think it's cropped a bit too tight (or not tight enough?) at the bottom.

Nice picture, with a beautiful sky and a good reflection effect on the ground. i like the contrast between old and recent architecture. it could be a nice cover for "Da vinci code" !
well done,
Michael
