Photographer’s Note
In Pakistan most of the trucks are decorated very extravagant. This picture was taken during a walk through Rawalpindi. This is the scan from a slide.

That's a very evocative picture Lukas. Having been to Islamabad and Rawlpindi a few years ago I recognise the colours and patterns. In fact I have a more distant shot of just such a truck so maybe I'll post it sometime soon. Knowing that this was taken in Pakistan but it's an indian tyre is ironic, given the antipathy between the two countries.
As for the image, the central position works perfectly for a symmetrical object such as a tyre. The detail is also crisp and clear giving the shot impact. I think a little more contrast could create even more impact, but there's the danger of making it look false.
