Photographer's Note

The Chapel of the Maccabees is situated on the south flank of Geneva cathedral and was built between 1400 and 1405 in a flamboyant Gothic style. During the Reformation, the chapel was converted into a salt store. It was restored in the 19th century. In this shot I wanted to capture the grandeur of this small but high chapel using a wide angle lens. The lighting was difficult so underexposed and then adjusted in Lightroom to bring out the shadows.
