The Inishowen lighthouse photographed from the sandy beach at Shroove is situated near the town of Moville in north east Donegal (the Inishowen peninsula). It is one of eleven lighthouses in that county.

A well composed picture.I like the rocks in the foreground, breaking up the vast ecspance of beach.

Very well done.
A shot with interesting elements( lighthouse, rocks) , very well framed, great contrast and DOF. menacing sky and rocks in the foreground putting it all in perspective.

Beautiful location, beautifully photographed. In many ways a classic, fulfilling many compositional "rules": foreground interest, thirds-placement of the lighthouse, the sweep of the bay which takes our eyes into the frame. And the colours aren't "forced" either. However the sky has fairly obviously been digitally "burnt-in", and for me, if it's obvious, it's too heavy-handed.

What a beautiful picture! The colors are nice, giving a real atmosphere to the photo.
And the composition is perfect.

Excellent shot ! The composition is perfectly balanced : the lighthouse and the horizon line are on third of the picture and the rocks make an excellent foreground. Despite the cloudy weather you had very good details in the sky and the light is very pleasant. And finally excellent sharpness.
Have a nice week,
