Photographer's Note

Ruins of the two storied Buddhist establishment at Bojjannakonda hill in Andhra Pradesh, India, dating back to the 4th century. It is a rock cut monolith encased in brick work. Built, as it was, over a millennium ago without the aid of modern machinery; the Herculean effort must have been fuelled by great faith and inspiration.
