Vision de l'alligator.
Aussi bonne la nuit que celle du hibou, à cause d'une fine membrane (Tapetum Lucidum) derrière la rétine qui agit comme un mirroir pour concentrer le peu de lumière disponible pour la chasse aux proies.






Alligator Vision
At night when the pupils are fully dilated, sharpness of vision is comparable to an owl's.
The eyes have a thin layer of a reflective tissue behind each retina (Tapetum lucidum) which acts like a mirror to concentrate all available light during darkest of nights for chasing preys.
