Caller of Angels

Is the name of the hanging empty sugar cane trunks that when moved by the wind produced a soft kind of noise , people use to hang them at the entrance of houses, calling angels to protect them from bad spirits
It was common only in the North of Argentina and Paraguay, since some years ago, they are also seen at houses round Buenos Aires

Aregua, It is the capital of the Central Department
A village on the route to Ipakarai lake where locals and turist go because is well known by the variety of handcrafted pottery
Along La Candelaria avenue about 100 people today exhibit their products made with different techniques and styles, mainly of weekends
An estimated 1,200 people live directly or indirectly from the ceramics
The planters are ranked first in sales in ceramics., followed by pots of different sizes and models, amphoras used here as in old Greece , Rome, Egypt to keep fresh water, now a good decoration item and nativity figures that are well known and appreciated not only in Paraguay but in Argentina as well
