U Bein's Bridge in Amarapura, Mandalay spans the Taungthaman Lake. It is 1.2 km long, was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world. I chose to desaturate the image to highlight the ghostly reflections; the colors at this afternoon hour detracted from the photo.

Great framing and composition. I loved the black and white treatment. Very good clarity and light management. The silhouettes, the reflections, the boats and the distant horizon ... everything adds up to a wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing. have a nice day.

unfortunately BW shots don`t get the attention that they sometimes deserve here on TE which is a shame as this is without doubt one of the most impressive mono uploads that I have had the pleasure to view.
A most interesting structure imaginatively composed and very well presented with excellent contrast and clarity.Well done.
Best regards Les.

Beautiful!I like how you captured this daily life scene by how you composed it from your POV. Your treatment in B&W also pulled more attention to the overall appeal of the image. Wonderful shot!
