Valentines with mixed cultures, a photo from Macau, South

I just thought of posting this picture because it is valantines today.

In Japan however, on this day the girls give the chocolates or presents to the male partner, but in March 14th the guys have to give a present to the girls 3 times the price of the ladies gift from last month.

I hope you like this shot.

What a nice idea for this with Valentin, it statue with the two images and there the people between, I like also of the lovely front of the old building.

Is this for the hunt. Nice framing, catching the activity in the background. Interesting custom, that actually takes note of the value of the gift. Nice little earner there for girls, just one month to wait for a 200% profit :-)

Hi Dan. Good selection for a posting on Valentine's Day. Nice framing with the sculpture in the foreground, and the ornate façade in the back. Interesting tradition mentioned in your note, hadn't heard about that one.

This is not only a good picture. It also teaches us something of Japan. What is the façade on the background? It seems to me not very Japanese.
