For me the central placement works fine here. Composition-wise I find it even attractive to see this frame being split in three: a vertical line cutting the frame in half and the right half being split in two by a horizontal element. Well seen Nikos!

Capture it in black and white really acts more dramaticaly to the image giving more emphasis.

Really like the tone you used on this photo. Somethimes the simple BW turns boring and ordinary.

Not so sure about the composition. I think I would prefer to see the door limit a little bit more to the left. But only through comparison could make this opinion.

Nice photo and feeling.
