The corridor linking the Western and Eastern parts of the National Gallery of Art, in Washington, DC.
Cropped, increased sharpness & brightness, applied slight retouches.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for Bulent Bey, who always enrich other members' posts with interesting remarks and links. Beautiful additional notes by Batalay follow. :
"... a light show designed by Leo Villareal, an artist from New York, (where) the passageway glitters with 41,000 light-emitting diodes (LED), inserted into the channels between its aluminum slats, creating a mesmerizing light show. The ever-changing pattern of lights are meant to mimic the universe (or still better multi-universes). The lights turn on and off in a choreographed manner, and create a swirling waves across the surface, and a suggestion of twinkling stars, rushing water and bouncing polka dots. What becomes clear in watching the patterns, however, is the random order in the patterns."

a very futuristic tunnel for a place like the national gallery. Wonderfully framed and nicely exposed shot here, really eye catching with some great graphical elements.
have a good day

Really cool effect, Erdem! Almost an optical illusion - I feel the shot moving as I look at it. Great POV and angle, with a difficult 1/15 handheld, but it's the perfect shutter speed to make this one work as the lines glow while the people on the escalator fade a bit.
One thing - looks like you left an italics tag open here!

Erdem, I've been here, many times, but never recognized this shot. Beautifully seen. The geometry of the lights is mesmerizing, and leads us into the center of the image, where the people are. Really pretty. Thanks.

Merhabe Erdem Bey,
I had no idea that you were in my part of the world, although, unhappily, I was not. Between April 10-29, we were en route Dubai to Rome. I see that the images I shot of the same tunnel were taken from the other end: Light at the end of the Tunnel 1 and another before the lights were installed, Light at the end of the Tunnel 2.
I hope all is well with you.
Sevgi ve saygilarimla,

This is a fascinating composition. I always like images that I can't quite understand on first viewing, and this is one such. You title is certainly apt, as it gives the sensation of falling into infinity. Great work: it's in my favourites.

Selamlar Erdem Bey,

How nice to see you here again. I know this corridor from Washigton and I was there with Bulent when I made my East Coast trip! It is an amazing place, magical when all these light change. Beautifully composed picture, with great depth. Well done.

Merhaba Erdem Bey,
Az önce TE te gezinirken sizin yeni harika çekimli Ayasofya fotoğrafınızı gördüm,son 4-5 karenizi de izlerken bu net çekimli tünel fotoğrafınıza sevinerek özlemle baktım.2009 yılı Haziran sonu 20 günlük ABD (Newyork-Washington-Boston'u görebildim)gezimde aynı mekanı ben de çekmiştim.Benimkileri vaktiniz olursa Canada fotoğraflarım içinde 4.small lake başlıklı fotoğrafın workshopunda görebilirsiniz .TE bıraktıktan sonra 2009 sonrası gezi fotolarımı ,dayanamayıp eski fotoların ws larına yüklemiştim.Washingtonda Nisan ayında bulunmuşsunuz, batalay hocamızın galerisinde çok güzellerini gördüğümüz kiraz çiçeklerini umarım kaçırmamışsınızdır.Çok selam ve sevgilerimle
