This is not Dubai. Burj Al Fateh, hotel and business centre is located in Khartoum, Sudan. The building was commissioned by Libya and opened in 2008. In Khartoum they still call it "Gaddafi's Egg".

A building and an architecture that I did not expect to find in Khartoum. This too is Sudan.
May I congratulate you on the wonderful and interesting documentary about this little-known country. A real contribution on TE in the context of getting to know the world a little better.
Local people usually have interesting nicknames for new buildings. Here 'Gaddafi's Egg' is a funny one.
Best regards, Paul

I've never been anywhere near Sudan but I wouldn't expect such a building. It looks fabulous. Mr. Gaddafi also left some beautiful things :X TFS

The wideness of the street is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the détails and colors of the architecture of the modern building. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.
