Photographer’s Note
I took this photo at Manly after walking out past Shelley Beach and onto small cliffs at the end. It was a cloudy winter day in Sydney, the wind gusting as well, but the overcast gave way and allowed me to capture this picture. The walk out past Shelley was a very enjoyable one, with a few friendly Sydney-siders out for an afternoon stroll to stop and talk with. It was later in the afternoon when I took this photo, the sun beginning to creep down to the horizon, and I was fascinated at the cloud formations and the colors they took on with the sun shining upon them.
..and of course, I was absolutely amazed at the view of looking down the coast line and seeing just beach after beach after beach..
Well, I really loved Manly. Cheers.

Watch your horizon, it's a bit tilted. I wonder what it would look like in B+W. A good shot otherwise, and a wonderful view. Must've been a great place to be.

Really nice contrast in the clouds. I think it would have made an even better picture with the horizon right at the bottom and more clouds, as they are the most interesting part of the scene.
