Photographer's Note

A Karen hill tribe woman weaving in a little mountain village in the region of Chiang Mai.
Weaving is a centuries-old tradition in the Karen tribes and an important way for them to get some money.
If we visit some markets in the region, like the one in Chiang Rai, we can find a wide variety of handloomed bags, shirts, skirts, dresses and lots of things they make with their looms.
