Not the best way to park your rental car.
This happened in the deep south of New Zealand's south island. We came around a corner and there it was. The driver had obviously taken the corner too fast and lost control on the gravel. The SUV had flipped and rolled when it hit the embankment.
Everyone inside was ok (rather lucky, considering how smashed in the front of the roof is). Just a few bruises and scratches. Once we made sure they were safely on their way to the nearest service station for a tow truck and a game of who-has-to-call-the-rental-guys-to-explain, I took a snap of the scene.

Glad everyone walked away from this, Greg - given the way the cab is crushed, I wouldn't have expected such a happy outcome. As for the shot itself, there's a nice metallic tone here, suitable for the subject matter, and the lines in the gravel and grass meet nicely at the back of the SUV. Hopefully the rest of your trip wasn't quite as dramatic as all this was.

actually an interesting composition together with a nice framing.

Unusual take on NZ landscape. Well done on thinking about taking a shot in spite of all the drama!
