This Is Not An Exit Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot from the same club stage of the music festival in my previous pic. I have this here to break down some stereotypes that a lot of people seem to have about people such as this mohawked guy.

I will explain a growing trend among young people within these music scenes (mostly punk and hardcore) called straightedge (or sXc). I'm not sure if it's really known that well outside of North America (it's probably known in Europe too)... straightedge is a lifestyle that these kids adopt that shuns all vices: drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, casual sex, and sometimes even meat (they become vegan).

It seems like a marked contrast compared to the image that they portray - tough grungy looking guys who listen to loud aggressive music....when in actual fact, they live a much cleaner, healthier lifestyle than a lot of other people. but they also know how to have a night of all out fun, at concerts like this one! :)

of course the bars don't do so well when the place is packed with a bunch of non-drinkers ;)

Tina si ce n'et pas une sortie qu'est ce que c'est ? Le léger flou qui règne est surtout du aux mouvements de la foule. Il donne pas trop mal dans cette composition. J'adore la coiffure du mec devant, je pense que je vais l'adopter pour cette été et ma barbe dans le même style, je fais faire du ravage auprès des ........ POISSONS.
Il y a une belle ambiance et de belles couleurs.

Tina if it and not an exit what it is? The light blur which reign is especially with the sways in the crowd. It does not give too badly in this composition. I adore the hairstyle of the guy in front of, I think that I will adopt it for this summer and my beard in the same style, I will make devastation near........ FISH. There are a beautiful environment and beautiful colors.

another wonderful shot from you. I must say the special effects in this photo are perfect, and I tremendously enjoyed reading your notes. I didn't quite knew some of those things.

The last sentence of American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis....'This is not an exit...'.
Guess, the title says it all to that kind'a music.
