Photographer’s Note
Hoi An
The ancient town of Hội An, (Quang Nam Province, location 15° 53' N, 108° 20' E, 30 km south of Danang) lies on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Occupied by early western traders, Hội An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century.
Hội An has a distinct Chinese atmosphere with low, tile-roofed houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets still remains almost intact. All the houses were made of rare wood, decorated with lacquered boards and panels engraved with Chinese characters. Pillars were also carved with ornamental designs.
Photo taken from Cam Ha Village back to the China Town over Thu Bon River.

Hello Thanh, I like this shot very simple and very peaceful. I like it for the composition. I mean, all the boats converge to the same point and bring eyes to the main theme: the town of Hoi An. With your text very complete, you bring us a very good document...
Regards
Pierre

Nice compo, i like this open perspective, and the coconut tree on right. I like the frame with these 'cut' boats.
Good choice of b&w. Well done
