Hey Everyone, this is my first photo on Trek Earth. Just got a new camera (sony W1)today so I decided to take a test shot out the back window.

Here we have a typical fake orchid, perched on the window sill, leaning out with the backdrop of a typical leafless winter tree. Hypothetically, would such a fake plant ever aspire to be real? To give up a life of relatively constant beauty for a cycle that includes stark dormance?

I decided to focus on the tree as it is the object of the orchid's curiousity. Also, I aimed to "connect" the tip of the orchid to the telephone pole for the sake of pointless continuity. I cropped the picture to remove excess black space from the side and bottom.
