| This windpump is situated in the village of Starston, Norfolk, England and dates back to 1870 although it has been restored. It sits beside a sluice in a beck( a small river) where it was used to pump water up to a large reservoir in the main house called 'Starston Place', from here the water was gravity-fed to other properties and to provide water for livestock. |

A very nice country composition, John; I lke this kind of landscapes, although I would have like to see a little bit more of those houses behind the windpump. Anyway, it is a very pleasant composition, I liked it!
