San Isidro is a wealth suburb just to the north of Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, our day trip there was marred by poor weather and thick clouds, but we were able to get a sense of the architecture and daily life while there, wandering through a Sunday street fair outside the cathedral before heading toward the coast. We didn't make it all the way there, but we did arrive at this spot, an overlook that allowed us to see the lower part of the city and the waters of Rio La Plata. Due to the clouds and the general setting, none of the photos of the view amounted to much, but I did enjoy the inscribed bricks that made up the patio floor of the overlook.

Congratulations for this original picture. The composition is good, thanks to a low point of view. I feel like a mouse running on this pavement!

Even in bad weather you still found a great shot! A nice low POV which emphasizes the herringbone geometric arrangement of the bricks.
This shot brought back some memories for me - when I was younger I used to create pathways and drives exactly like the one in your shot for a living. Hard, monotonous and boring work, unlike photography!

You've proven with this one that a good picture can be fine almost everywhere. Great repetition of pattern. Sharpness and deepness are right where they should be.

now this is clever and creatively original. Not an easy shot to get, you must have been lying flat to achieve this effect and get the clarity and detail shown here. Executed perfectly and a striking imaginative presentation. Bravo!
Have a great week - regards Brian.

An original composition, with good use of the shallow depth of field and interesting choice of subject. The rich colours are a bonus too.
Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend

nice patterns created by these bricks and the letters. I liked the framing and the sharpness. this make me rememebr a day when I was walking in a surburb of an old brazilian town and I found a big brick with the crown of Brazilian empire (19th century). I wanted to take it home but it was so heavy..
