Photographer’s Note

It was a cloudy morning and I woke up early to see the dolphins that usually are very close to the beach at that time, not dolphins but I took this nice reflections of the clouds on the wet sand.

This is an amazing picture... I never saw the Great Barrier Reef in such a light.

Beautiful! Letting the sky take up so much of the picture was an excellent choice. The reflections at different distances are really nice. Did you use some kind of filter to achieve the strange color of the sky or is it postprocessed - or is it real? The light is also very good here.

This shot is amazing! The reflection on the wet sand of the dark sky is superb. The sky is almost overwhelming, but that just adds to the atmosphere. I wonder if it would have been nicer if you took out that ship way off in the horizon - matter of choice I think.

L'infini... comme je l'aime. Il suffirait de franchir l'écran pour être sur la plage.... Beaucoup d'émotion dans cette image (tout du moins pour moi). Merci !

A wonderful atmospheric shot... looks like a typical British beach scene.. and a wintry one at that.. so I was surprised to see that this was Queensland! Lovely reflections, and the distant boat makes the shot for me.
