Photo of another locomotive Puffing Billy Railway. Also this locomotive was manufactured at the Victorian Railways Newport Workshops in 1905 and was operated by Victorian Railways in Australia. It has been restored as near as practicable to "as new" condition, Canadian Pacific red & brown color with white lining.
The Puffing Billy Railway is a narrow gauge Heritage railway in the Dandenong Ranges in State of Victoria, close to Melbourne.
The Puffing Billy Railway is kept in operation through the efforts of volunteers of the Puffing Billy Preservation Society, although intensive year-round operations necessitate a small band of paid employees to keep things going behind the scenes.
The railway owns every remaining narrow-gauge locomotive of the former Victorian Railways, and has restored to operating condition all except one, although not all are in serviceable condition at any one time.
Puffing Billy also offers driver experience days on the smaller steam engines. See also my other photos of Puffing Billy locomotive posted earlier.

This is a nice shot of this great old locomotive. The angle of the shot works well creating a diagonal through the frame with the train. The lighting is fine as is the photo's sharpness. Maybe just a little more foreground would have been nice here!

Salut cher Miro
What a beautiful photo. So timeless, yet with beautiful vivid collours. The white frame adds to this sense of timelessness and also adds to the impression of the train being steam-powered. Beautiful diagonals and lines. Congratulations.

All three pic. of the Steam-engines in the series are marvelous, Miro.
I live in a country that have no lokomotives like this att all, so for me is a unique subject.
Beautiful red well in contrast to green surrounding, lovely scenery.

Interesting infor notes Miro and the historic iron horse, a rare upload of fascinating steam loco, even the steam is visible giving it a fluffy appearance whilst at the same time bringing out the rich matured red colour without losing detail in her appearance. Lovely atmospheric feel that works so well rendering it a times past effect and the sense of movements here as if the driver has full boiler pressure and hence maximum tractive effort moving the train. It's a pleasure to see this wonderful faithful horse so lovingly cared. Well done TFS, Great effort.

Hi Miro !!
nice title and nice framing to evoke the good old days of steam train travelling.

The length of the train is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the locomotive and of the wagon. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
