BARCINO is the Roman name for Barcelona.

BARCINO sculpture is a visual poem of Joan Brossa.
It is located in the Plaça Nova de Barcelona, in front of the Episcopal Palace.

It is a curious sculpture that forms the word Barcino, the short name of Roman Barcelona, ​​who actually called Colonia Iulia Augusta Paterna Faventia Barcino. This ideogram was created by Brossa in 1992 and placed in the streets of Barcelona in 1994, shortly before his death.
