Photographer's Note
The British ship Peter Iredale ran aground in the early morning hours of October 25, 1906 as it was making its way from Santa Cruz, Mexico to Portland, Oregon. It quickly became a tourist attraction, and continues to be to this day at Fort Stevens State Park.

Hi Gregory
Even ignoring your Rule 11, this still would be' a killer shot: the textures, the colours, the sharpness and the reflections are all exquisite. Your subject is right in the middle of the frame, breaking another of your Rules, yet doesn't bother me at all. And of course as a subject, it's rare, intriguing and beautiful. Another reason to' add to' my Shipwreck Theme if that's ok with you. Thanks for sharing, the photo's a class act and I couldn't give a sh@te if you give me a smiley back...Rule 9 is it? :)
Cheers, have a great day

Hi Gregory
this just jumps out at you in the thumbnails. It does not disappoint full size and has that sad and lonley atmosphere about it that makes it work so perfectly. It actually looks like a piece of modern day art, which takes credit from your perfect POV and execution. I love it! Stunning image and presentation.
Regards - Brian.
