Photographer's Note
So, let me speak technique. I tried an inversion ring to have full scale insects, but I also discovered that with a telelens and full wide aperture, I got almost sharpness at the center and a blurred area at the sides of the frame.
But now, forget the technique to discover the felt effect: a fairy tale atmosphere, some quietness, a live dream, enhanced by the back light on the new fern leaves amongst the pinewood of "les Landes."
I am waiting for your feelings for this shot, ... and your new techniques.

Who cares the tecnique !
The atmosphere is magic, and this is what it matters.
Even a larger view, to see more trees, I am sure it would have been great.

Bonjour Claude,

Hello Claude,
It may be an older picture, but it
has lost nothing of its strength.
The picture has beautiful fairytale
atmosphere.

Hello Claude.
I like the lens-baby effect of your adventurous technique in making this shot. The artwork is pleasing and the effect is rather dreamy in the frame.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Salut Claude,

looking at the thumbnail I thought this was a splash of water from the water mirror in Bordeaux... instead I see it's ferns and it looks like an oneiric moment, the shred of a dream that leaves something behind - I can almost imagine a Medieval knight appearing out of nowhere, lost in time, on a quest for.. for what..?
who knows :)

Hello Claude,
I like the result, though I can imagine that with a little bit more sharpness the photo does not look worse. It reminds of something long forgotten,....when photography just had been invented....
Kind regards,
Elvira
