The SAINTE-MARIE CATHEDRAL 15th 17th centuries. Classified as historical monuments since 1906.
Its construction began in 1489, lasted two centuries, which explains its architecture that combines Gothic style and Renaissance style of its facade. Its dimensions are impressive: Approximately 100 meters long and 40 meters wide, and two towers of 44 meters. Its three naves contain 21 chapels, 18 remarkable stainglass and 115 stalls decorated with biblical scenes.

I made a trial on my Photoscape, raised illumination curve, Joel, and what a sight revealed: The fountain on left, down the street on right and far, and the edifice show as part of the cathedral.
Maybe a longer exp. time was due.
The place is overwhelming on night scenery.

jolie photo nocturne où l'atmosphère semble douce et feutrée,comme une invitation à aller dormir, contrairement aux habituelles photos de nuit très lumineuses.J'aime beaucoup l'effet donné par la fontaine.

Hi Joel,

You're capturing well this niht scene by a good composition and excellent tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see splendid Cathedral with both style of Gothic and Renaissance and light illumination of street. It is effective that there is one blue point in darkness and light, too. Colors is managed well and brilliant. Excellent night cityscape!

Bonjour Joël,

La distance entre les fontaines et la cathédrale donne d ela profondeur à l'image. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de la cathédrale et des immeubles. La lumière des lampadaires et celle des projecteur a un effet spécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bon dimanche.

Bonjour Joel,

J'aime beaucoup ce point de vue en enfilade avec la fontaine et ces belles boules en diagonale qui donnent de la profondeur à l'ensemble.On n'a pas beaucoup d'informations sur la technique ( trépied, ISO ), mais le résultat parle de lui-même.

foto molto suggestiva e romantica, le luci sono ben controllate e l'esposizione riesce a farci vedere anche l'acqua della fontana in modo molto naturale, bellissimi i riflessi della luce sui pennacchi d'acqua e sulle sfere di metallo a terra.

A beautiful night scene with contrasts of black and yellow, perfectlyly harmonised.
The line of f/g spheres is a most effective guide, which finds extra interest as it meets the line of lamplights on an opposing diagonal.
You have achieved excellent sharpness.

Good night shot! I like the composition. It was a good idea to include this row of balls forming a diagonal in foreground. I also like the way you framed the illuminated church and buildings.
