At 4th and Cornelia, a photo from New York, Northeast

Photographer's Note

My walking tour in Greenwich village was very productive. There are many beautiful things to see here. I spotted this building at the corner of 4th and Cornelia. I am not sure what it is, but the ground floor is rented by papaya dog, a restaurant.

Very nice view of this corner building. The architecture is quite interesting while the busy street corner adds life and perspective. The building stands well over the cloudy sky and the details are very sharp.

C'est vraiment un superbe édifice, que je n'ai pas vu lors de ma visite. Il a une ressemblance évidente avec the FlatIron mais d'un autre style. Belle photo qui nous le montre sous son meilleur angle, et belle luminosité qui se reflète dans les fenêtres.

Hello Lakshmi,

Seems to be an art deco style of architecture common in the 1920's & 1930's. You could type in the address in google, look up the map for the name of the building then google the building name for details. Good angled pov with perfect sharpness. I like the solitary blue window above the pawpaw (papaya) dog restaurant. Tfs!

Hi lakshmi. Famous architecture, famous buildings with a distinctive style. Such exceptional houses can be seen for example in Paris, but also in the United States. Your photo is a good example. Rgds, Wolfgang.

I was in NYC not too long ago, i think it was sept of last year. This building is completely new to me, and i even walked though Greenwich!
its funny looking at the top, as if they forgot to complete it :)
But i do enjoy the flat-iron triangular style.

It's interesting that you found another building shaped liked the Flatiron. This one has a different style, but it is also very nice. I have never seen this building before, and with your presentation I can clearly enjoy the details of the facade.
