Photographer's Note
This is the Galata Bridge that spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul.
It’s quite interesting to observe every day at any hour the local fishing from this very famous bridge. The restaurant are serving the famous fish sandwiches in the lower deck of the bridge.
CURIOSITY:
In the years 1502–1503 there were plans to construct the first bridge at this same location. Sultan Bayezid II solicited a design and Leonardo da Vinci, utilizing three well-known geometrical principles, the pressed-bow, parabolic curve and keystone arch, created an unprecedented single span 240 m long and 24 m wide bridge for the Golden Horn, which would have become the longest bridge in the world of that time if it had been constructed. However and unfortunately, this marvellous reliable yet ambitious design
was not approved by the Sultan.

Olá Rui,
A very colourful, lively and atmospheric street image of Istanbul.
There are a lot of fishermen on this famous bridge. I hope the catch was good.
The light is very beautiful. Looking at the long shadows I think you took this picture at the end of the day.
Happy Easter, Paul

Excellent POV of Galata Bridge Rui, with playful colors and perfect light management. Too many fisherman fishing in one place, I need elbow room when I'm fishing, but that has nothing to do with your beautiful photo. Great Job!!

Vivi and very "busy" location, Rui.
The place known for the many fishermen coming there, and the town skyline most impressive from this POV.
Bom fim de semana,
Ike
