Photographer's Note

Just one of several photos I've taken in the market of Rajkot.
Rajkot is one of the biggest and also one of the fastest growing cities in Gujarat. Founded in the 17th century, it has played an important role in the Indian Independence Movement.
Like in most part of the state, western tourists are not so common here and when they come, they are noticed at once. It's also difficult to find souvenirs here, as practically everything they have to sell is for locals, something that makes these places so special to me.

Hi Ana,

Very good and authentic street shot, I love it, it makes us feel like we are there with you seeing all the thing that happen on the street of dusty town.

The one boy that has direct eye contact with you bring us in. Very nice details overall. I love this type of shot, though I'm not good at it.

I like this picture very much because it's very well composed and real and captures the daily scene easily and smoothly. Clarity and lighting are marvellous, the colours and the atmosphere are so natural. I love the shy and friendly smiles and the camaraderie of the people here. A lovely photo, well done and thank you!

todos os personagens muito bem colocados e todos com um sorriso nos lábios, fosse no marrocos e me receberiam com caras amarradas e gestos exigindo para que eu afastasse a câmera, como se eu fosse um paparazzi atacando super-stars.haha.
