When we visited Bermuda, it was a holiday season. As foreigners, we couldn't rent cars. Our modes of transportation were taxis, mopeds or the public transportation. I never learned to ride a moped. we had already used the taxis. We wanted to try the bus like locals.

St George is a parish in the East of the island. We wanted to see the lighthouse there. The bus took us to the stop close to Texas Road where the lighthouse is. The whole place was deserted. We were the only people.The view from there was nice like these cute homes.

The houses & holiday homes in Bermuda are so colourful! Good sharpness although there is a little pixellation in the sky, that is easily blurred in photoshop. The path up the hill adds perspective. Tfs!

The different colors of the houses make this image appealing as well as their placement at different angles. The good light makes for well rendered colrs and good sharpness.

On sent les couleurs chaudes des Bermudes. J'aimerais savoir si avant de construire, le propriétaire recevait une couleurs différente à utiliser.

Hello Dear Lakshmi,

Those houses are for real. One from the others, they are all painted in different colours. Where weather permit, colours such as these seem to dominate the buildings. I always wonder about this, because where I am at the moment; it is not at all like this. So, I suspect that it has more to do with the culture rather than the weather. Having said this, I must say that I like those colourful houses. They look very friendly. One can say “the yellow house” on the left, instead of using a number to identify each house. My address is so and so place Bermuda … the yellow house. That would be fun. The photo covers a great range of houses. Together with the puffy white clouds in the sky, the place looks very inviting.

Nice area with fine colored houses. I think it was good idea not to rent a car there as they drive on left-side, I'd never try...

Most probably you never would have the chance to see such buildings painted with those fancy pastell colors anywhere in the world but in Bermuda.

Oh yes they're very cute, I love their colours. They remind me a little of Craig's cute houses in Newfoundland - yet in a completely different part of the world. Good composition.
