I found really interesting the reflection of the Saint-Paul church in the water. I tried several formats but thought this one was the most appropriate to show how this church has a strong presence over the river.
A perfect symetry could have been too artificial to my mind. Indeed, when comparing different shots, I told to myself that not having the whole reflection of the church could enhance better the front wall itself and the highness of each tower. I hope I wasn’t wrong. The deep blue tones of the sky are a wonderful environment for the stones which turned yellow with the effect of few projectors.
This church was surprisingly built quite late. It was built in 1897 in fact when Strasbourg was a German area.

A very attractive shot Steven! You managed to capture several elements in one shot... Symmetry, mirroring, framing by natural elements on the left and the right and excellent light metering... Very well done!

Beautiful. Good colors, and nice simetry. Reflection of the head of the towers are missing for perfect simetry.

Bravo.

A perfect exposure to capture beautifully the colours in the church and in the sky.

Very well exposed shot. I feel you should have used portrait format to get the whole reflection in the water, as this is suggested by the title. The trees on the left are to dark compared with those on the right where some definition is visible. By cropping the picture both sised of the last lights, a stronger image is presented in my opinion. Still, wish I was there to try it.

Tens razão quanto ao reflexo da igreja na água. Caso a simetria fosse perfeita a vista perderia-se na parte de baixo da foto.

Stunning and all that needs to be said has been. I workshoped it, just to see what it might look like another way, not because it needed improving at all!
