Photographer’s Note
I met these little monks in a monastery in Darjeeling. They were 3, they noticed me taking a picture and the third one, the youngest of them just moved out the frame before the click. He was laughing - I guess he was laughing at the fact that the others didn't notice it and he did. He was really cute and extremely friendly. I wanted a candid shot.

I like those wide-angle natural portraits. I like B&W "classic" film grain and some scratches too.
Unhapillu it seems that tree on background is more sharpen than faces which is (for me) mistake.
After all, nice feel shot. good work

Hi Shalin,
Although the picture is not sharp, I still like the tone and the feeling of this picture. Nice work.

hi Shal, this is a good composition, but don't like the scratches and dots.. I feel the pic. is a bit 'out-of-focus'?

i don't mind scratches ( i use them in some of my own photographs) i love grains
but here it seems more like you sprinkled some powder on the photograph :)
i get the feeliong that this was a colour photograph which was later converted to black and white.
if you have photoshop with you, you should try to use the feature "unsharp mask" under sharpen.
when you scan a photograph there is some loss of clarity , so this will help you get back some of the quality of the original photograph
the contrast between the expressions is quite nice
take care :)

Nice composition, nice aged sort of appearance. I really like the expressions on the boy's faces, I wish I'd seen the third.

Hi Shalin
Nice composition and interesting face.
But the sharpness is not so good.
