what an incredible opportunity, too good to miss. your notes are excellent and very informative, just like your lectures no doubt.
your picture gives the impression that it is a wonderful place to visit. palms trees are always a good sign. the clouds here are quite dramatic. love the huts, what a place to stay. great composition.

Dear Bulent,

I read about your "work vacation" this have to pleasant with contact with the visitors every day.
"Plate Tectonics and Search for Noah's Ark", shall perhaps the most interesting, perhaps for my.
A pity that I always speaks very bad English, I try a lot but I am a very bad student.
Your picture is a very well image, we use this type picture for the weather reporting on TV.

My husband, also a Leonard, must be the other person about whom you are talking!

One of the tantalising aspects of this site is that so many places are posted that one would love to visit. This is no exception!
It is verging on the monchrome, with its long shadowy reflections, giving a very distinct character and is beautifully composed. I like how the singule palm tree is cocking its head invitingly, saying, " Welcome to my World!"

Your notes vibrate with your enthusiasm for the place.

Happy New Year to you and let me say how glad I was to hear that you were not on the Concordia and instead were spending time on our side of the equator. I hope you enjoyed the armth. I love the softness to this photo, the reflections on the water and the romantic palm trees. Isn't it amazing how they don't fall over at unbelievable angles like the one on the right?

What a super trip. great landscapes, a cruise ( not the Concordia and your lectures
Funny the Two Leonardos...
Your capture is very well composed with the palm on the left as a kind of frame
Color almost grey with a mix of argent and blue is unique to create a different image ( not the classical golden beach-blue sky)

really the invitation from the cruise company must was a great surprise to you,with the cruise to the French Polynesia to was the destination of it.Moody the presented scenery,i don't know the hour of the shot,with the famous islands of Moorea and Bora-Bora,to are worldwide known.Your audience must was very interesting from all these lectures you describe in the note.

Hello Bulent,

You're capturing well the atmosphere of this island by a good composition and tasteful deep tone, so it's impressive to see some cotages, sand and bay. Here seems so peaceful and calm place. And, a coconut tree seen at right side draws out and additional good effect as well as thick cloud in the sky, too.

very atmospheric capture. An original presentation from the paradise. Low light and sky covered with clouds makes it so different from typical sunny and colorful photos from this place. Charming palm tree so nicely bed to form diagonal. Very well spotted,

I understand what the title means, surely you have returned after seeing the most beautiful place in the world: French Polynesia. Your picture is quite rare because it shows only the silhouette of the village and the palm trees, but it is certainly interesting and enjoyable, creating a very charming atmosphere. excellent management of the light, especially in the sky. Sincere congratulations for this beautiful image, dear friend, I am also sure that the guests of the Seabourn Odyssey were lucky to be able to listen to your lessons.

Hi Bulent,
such a weak luminosity gives a strong personality to this fantastic tahitian landscape, creating an atmosphere of really suggestive calmness. If this place is not the paradise, really seems it, and I congratulate you about the invitation of the cruise line, because this cruise trip across the French Polynesia must be magnificent.
I like the combination of elements in this composition, especially the huts on the water, the great sloping coco-palm at the right side, and the gorgeous cloudy sky.

Love the silvery color tones in this superb South Seas image. It nicely breaks the standard mold of clear blue skies seen more commonly in postcards. Superb graphism & the leaning coconut palm at right adds dynamism. Tfs!

The themes of your lectures are very interesting and I would have given the proverbial for an opportunity of attending them.
