Photographer's Note

Perhaps the title to this shot is a little presumptuous but I love water lilies for their elegance and restrained beauty. Floating in the pristine wetlands of Nkasa Lupala it seems as if a creative hand has placed every petal, leaf and reed with delicate precision. Much like the Japanese art of formal flower arrangement, Ikebana, with special regard shown to balance, harmony, and form.
