Sounds like the northeast has gotten hammered with winter storms. Great picture - I love the "blueness" of it, and the composition. The snow-covered picnic table is the perfect focus to the scene. Well done.

The colours are amazing. I freeze just by looking at it. The compo is straightforward, but good. The moon obviously contributes a lot. Wish the focus was pinsharp though.

I like the feel and colour of the image, but found the noise distracting. I know, some people prefer it that way. Anyway, I did a WS to remove the noise for comparison.

Great instinct, Michael. Nothing gets by your photographer's eye. Agree with other comments, but just love your spontaniety. Nice to grab this opportunity late into the night even if it is your own backyard. Pleasant dreams...

Cold blue and lonely mood. The moon light convey strong melancholia.
I can feel that special silence where all sounds are muffled by the snow.
