Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken inside an abandoned barn near Iowa City, Iowa. The barn in on an 18th century Poor Farm.

I kept the photo somewhat dark to preserve the dark, erie feeling I had inside the barn. Processing included converting to B&W, and cloning out a window that was too bright and distracting, just above the steering wheel.

A good interior shot making an excellent composition. The mix of wood elements and the mechanics of the tractor gives a very strange mood to the photo. It gives a remind of a very popular Finn restaurant (in the center of Helsinky) called Zetor.

Yeeeeeees – an abandoned vehicle in an abandoned building! This subject really works for me...
Very well chosen POV/composition/tight framing. Beautiful light, too. B&W works well – but I would like to see the original version in colors – perhaps you could post it to WS? I quess the tractor has some beautiful rust and worn paint on it...
