Prague - The last goodbye... Photo

Photographer’s Note

27th of December 2004 was the last day at Prague and at Czech Republic. After 4 very fine and special days at this magical city and country, was the time to return back to Greece.

This is the one of the last photo I took from Charles IV Bridge and the old city of Prague (Malonstanka I think it's in Czech), so I wanted to give a more dull mood.

I don't know if I'll return to this place again in my life. But, I advice you to visit it once in your life. It's worth a visit!

PP infos: I choose an almost sepia tone for this one with the help of the clarify tool of PSP and a dose of USM and framing at Photoshop!

Nice somber shot. I like the shape of the church steeple in background and the silhouetted statue. The bird on his head is a nice touch and has a life of its own through the fact that it is lit while the statue is in silhouette.

Nicely composed photo. I think the black and white was the right choice- It looks good. And this bird! Regards.

Again a very appealing shot from the old town, in which the combination of a statue and the surrounding architecture make for a very pleasant compositional ensemble. Excellent post-work on this one, Mpampis, you gave it a timeless look, almost like a vintage postcard.
