Photographer's Note

Corong Corong Beach faces due west, unlike El Nido town, which faces north, so the sunsets here are much better. The northern end of the beach below the headland at right is inhabited by Filipino fishermen & their families. About 2km left are a couple of upmarket resorts (Las Cabanas / Dolarog). There was a boy playing on one of the outrigger canoes with outstretched arms, silhouetted against the setting sun. The islands are all part of the Bacuit Archipelago.
