Winter Willow in Fog Photo

Photographer’s Note

While trying to capture some scenes with fog all around I stopped along this bank to see if the trees in the background and the willow forefront cold add a nice mood in this setting. Oh well I tried. The lighting in fog is very lacking for dramatic lighting. But the mood in this area in my mind was stillness. Comments always welcome..

another good shot. i like the combination of fog and water. it's too bad the willow tree is all brown. i know it's winter, I'm just saying, ya know? by the way, excellent sharpness in the trees.

I like how the willow gives an ethereal grace to a scene that might otherwise be drab. The fog brings out the the layers of distance nicely, too. It seems you achieved the mood you intended. Very nice.
