I've just returned from my second trip to India - this time to the State of Gujarat, a really authentic region that deserves to be discovered. With thousands of photos to select and edit, I'm posting my first one - an India "cowboy" I saw in a little village, not far from Modhera. Among many others that were around, this one really caught my eye.
Others will follow soon!

Oi Ana, o pastor de roupa azul se destacou bem no meio da boiada, o que ficou ótimo. Sua expressão ficou bem retratada também, bom trabalho, meus parabéns!

Yes, Gujarat is a state that so far has not received the attention of tourists that it deserves. I found it highly interesting. This is a fine shot where the "cowboy" really catches the attention with his colourful clothes and self-assured attitude, The cattle provide him with a fine background. The warm light is well handled and the sharpness is very good.

L'espressività degli allevatori di bestiame prende volti diversi e costumi ...ma lo sguardo e gli occhi sono gli stessi.
In terra di pastori ...me ne intendo .
L'attimo coglie piacevolmente il bestiame ..attento.
Uno scatto pieno di contenuti.

So you are back from India! I hope you had wonderful trip. I am missing India already. I am curious about Gujarat, it seems less popular with tourists. beautiful shot of this Indian cowboy in blue. Well done.

Nice daily life scene with an excellent sharpness. I like how the man with blue clothes is standing out the grey buffalo and how he seems proud to be photographed. The forest of the horns of buffalo add an amazing effect.

I am fascinated by the cattle occupying the frame nicely spread out with good sense of depth and lovely inclusion of greenery, with special mood created between the animals and the cowboy. A great daily life scene, a real rural India depicted. More importantly to me is the proud cowboy and his gaily colors certainly add so much to this happy shot. Well exposed, rich colors and good clarity and he extremely standout superbly. A marvelous picture, TFS

I just saw you came to India... with a superb picture here. The picturesque herdsman in nice clothes and silver belt is looking very relaxed and the repetition of the horns and cow heads give a great graphism to the background..
Perfect general quality too!

Looking forward to more from your trip, and this is a great start. What a sea of horns! And your "cowboy" with his great clothes really sets everything else off so nicely! Well seen and beautifully done! Warm regards,

Hello Ana, The colour of his clothes really make him standout. Nice daily life scene, like his brightly coloured clothes & stance. How did you get all those animals to look at the camera at the same time? :-)

Ciao Ana, welcome back, and with a resplendent picture, I like the pose that gave you the pastor, and the graphic elements that make the horns of cows, beautiful tones of gray in contrast with the man's clothing, excellent sharpness, have a nice day, Valter

I was away when you posted this one and I'm glad that I can catch it up
Not so many people are going to Gujarat but it's nevertheless a rewarding trip, away from the tourists of its neighbor Rajasthan
A nice one of this "cowboy" in the middle of his long horns
have a nice WE

Hello Ana. A photo from the world of work. The herding of animals is one of the oldest professions in the world. And I think it's hard work with low pay. The photo pleases me because it looks very authentic. Rgds, Wolfgang.

A great shot. The cattle are so clear and sharp. But it is the posing cowboy who is the real focus - and he is well positioned and wearing such colourful clothing. Cheers, Marlene

Another superb photo from India. Your eyes were mine in that country, dear Ana. You did your "job" very well and you justified the long travel. I imagine your emotions in front of such scene. Warm regards,
