Photographer’s Note
I have posted this picture on its own as i have previously used it in conjunction with a shot 30 minutes prior, and this shot was commented on favourably. Now those who enjoyed that shot can see it in more detail. Again the colour of the rock is natural and i took the photo just as the sun had lowered enough to cast the land into darkness, but still shine on the rock. By doing this, the rock really seems to glow. I guess i was lucky with an impressive sky, as for weeks we hadn't seen a cloud in the outback. As for the rock itself, supposedly, it is just the tip of the iceberg - it goes down for thousands of metres.
From a comment received, it has been pointed out to me simply, blue, red, and green - all created by nature.

This is really amazing! The texture of the cloud pattern in the sky contrasts well with the smooth rock, and actually kind of mirrors the pattern of the bushes in the foreground. This really makes me want to visit.
